SUNDAY MASS IS AT 10:30 A.M. †
Easter Liturgy MemorialsWe will offer our
Easter liturgies, including the environment, flowers, decorations, and
programs in memory of loved ones who have passed away. A special
Easter Memorial Bulletin will be distributed listing the names of the
individuals remembered and the donors. We request a $5 donation
for each individual remembered. Envelopes can be found on the
tables in the back of church or obtained at the rectory, please fill
one out and drop it in the collection basket or rectory mail slot no
later than Monday, March 29th.
Tri-Church Education Series: “Confronting Evil: Baptism, Penance & Exorcism”The
last of our Tri-Church education series offered by Corpus Christi,
Brown Memorial, and Memorial Episcopal Churches continues this Tuesday,
March 9, at Brown Memorial Assembly Hall (W. Lafayette & Park
Aves.). This Tuesday’s talk will be led by Fr.
Rich, who will discuss the role of exorcism in our church
traditions’ confrontation of evil. Rev. Martha
Macgill and Rev. Andrew Foster Connors will respond. A light
supper will be held at 6:30 p.m., followed by presentation and
discussion at 7:00 p.m.
Reception for Monsignor Bozzelli
Sunday, March 14 after Mass until 1:30 pm we will have a reception
(party) for Monsignor Fr. Rich at the MICA/ Main Building.
This is the white building right next to our parking lot.
Join us for a celebration to honor our pastor being named a monsignor.
Corpus Christi Church Choir
If you are interested in singing in the Corpus Christi Church Choir,
you can pick up a schedule by the piano. The Choir is open to
anyone high school aged and older who enjoys singing and wants to
participate in this ministry during liturgy.
Burse for Reverend Monsignor Bozzelli
Sunday, March 7, 2010 is the last day we will be receiving donations
for the burse. Donations can be cash or checks made out to Corpus
Christi Church with a notation they are for the burse. Donations
are not tax deductible. The burse will be presented to Rich at
Mass on Sunday, March 14, 2010.
Community Ecumenical Lenten Services
The Christian churches from Bolton Hill to West Baltimore will be
joining in prayer each Wednesday in Lent (now through March 31) at noon
at Memorial Episcopal Church (W. Lafayette Ave & Bolton St.).
In order to facilitate Corpus Christi’s participation in these service,
there will be no 12:10 p.m. Wednesday Mass during this time.
Please join in praying with our Christian neighbors.
Food Allergies? Gluten Intolerance?
Corpus Christi has low-gluten (<0.01% gluten) altar bread for
individuals with celiac disease or wheat intolerance, as well as hosts
prepared in dedicated kitchens without risk of peanut
contamination. If dietary restrictions require you to receive
these hosts at communion, please see Fr. Rich.
