Corpus Christi Community Center Outreach Ministry
Volunteer Opportunities
Orientation and training is provided for all of these
opportunities. Some assignments can be done individually, in
groups or as a family. Any questions, please contact Betsy

Food Shopper
Food list is provided. You purchase the items and bring them to
the rectory. Time to shop is determined by the parishioner.
Can be for perishable items such as macaroni salad, potato salad or
coleslaw. Can be bakery items such as bread, rolls or buns.
Casserole or Sandwich Maker
Purchase items for the recipes or sandwiches and hand in receipts to
Betsy. Make casseroles or sandwiches at home or make with a group
of parishioners in the rectory.
Food Bag Packer
On a Sunday morning or weekday before 5 pm, as an individual or with a
team, pack grocery bags in our rectory basement to be used for our
Wednesday food bag distribution.
Food Bag Distributor
On Wednesday from 9:15 am to 10:30 am distribute food bags at our center. Only need to volunteer on a monthly basis.
Transport Supplies to the Center
On Sunday mornings or weekdays help take supplies, dinner items and/or
food bags to the Center. Can be done on a monthly basis.
Set-up, Serve and/or Clean-up at the Corpus Christi Community Center
Parishioner volunteers are needed to help set-up, serve and clean-up on
Tuesdays and Thursdays. Can do 1, 2 or all 3 of this volunteer
opportunity. Time: Set-up 1 pm; serving 2 pm to 3:30 pm; clean-up
3:30 to 4 pm. Can do this on a weekly or monthly basis.
